Raking the tailgate forward was a popular mini truck mod back in the late 70s. I will check my back issues of mini truck magazine from the late 70s and see if I can find a couple of trucks that had this mod and post them. Yes indeed I have every single issue of Mini Truck Mag and Truckin' since the beginning!

 

yeah the whole rear section taillights and all, and i thought i was the only guy who kept al his magazines lol,ive bobbed the bed, still no pics though, took out 8"s but didnt rake the rear, think imma hold off on that for now till work slows down some.
