To Any and All who respond to this thread... THANKS... I turn to my fellow toyota mini members to help with a delima.... I had purchased a set of euro tails on ebay abt 3 yrs ago and was impressed with the quality and fit but to my dismay .... there were stolen... Haven't been able to find a pair like them since... They were very similar to these but they had a smoked lens and a gun metal finish inside ...anyone know where I can find a set ? If not...a excellent quality lens will do but I really want the best product out there... any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated ... THANKS !!!

I have had a couple pairs and the are all OK but mostly pretty cheap low quality
it shows after time when they start to get beat up looking especially if you get the ones with chrome on the outer edge as it is so thin and cheap it wears off and looks like crap

these are about the best ones out there... remember you get what you pay for

    try this ebay search
    http://search.ebay.com/search/searc...ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1&fsoo=1

this page has two of the best brands, the IPCW style in my first link and a few pairs of TYC (none on ebay right now) they are on this site for $158 but you may find them cheaper elsewhere. The TYC brand is different since the colored lenses stick out in the housings...

I have the led ones on our Landcruiser and like them a lot. Got a deal on a used set $35 shipped from japan. Guy over on ih8mud.com considering them for the pickup mainly for visibility they are bright!

what i ended up doing was running clear lenses with ACTUAL JDM type 1157 red bulbs where the glass is actually red instead of just painted over a clear bulb (they fade out and suck) however the real trick to getting a good red glow/reflection and keeping the popo's out here off my tail about my clear tails was to paint the housings with this metallic red annodizing paint that Macrib found at the auto zone. it worked great in combination with all i mentioned and they reflect and light up bright deep red. :Waytogo:

^^ yup, that metallic red paint is AWESOME! used it in past applications before, i love it.

that's what I may plan to do, we'll see. I have two light buckets anyway :D
