wondering if anyone knows what years have the pop out toyota logo on the tailgates. i wanna find one and cut it out to put on my cali combo

 

I did one for a customer. And I used a 70 hilux tailgate. I think it was stamp all the way till 79. I think

 

My tailgate still came with that tailgate and its an 83 I think my truck is the last year that toyota stopped making them

 

wonder if ill be able to find one of those in the local pick a part

 

Should be able to. Just hope it in good enuff shape

They are made all the way to 88

Yeah i seen them on mostly all 4x4 trucks with japan spec beds

the size and style of the letter changed also, they are smaller on my 83 then the letters were on my 77

 

ok i think i would want the bigger ones
