suspension mod

    Looking way's to stiffen up my suspension, tell me about your suspension set up,

    Sway away torsions bars .. and a good shock designed for lowering... out back not to much either drop leafs on good shocks or blocks on oem leafs with a good shocks . Poly bushings is always a good option

    Yeah, Sway Away's would be nice, but where on earth could you find them anymore?

    Good question there still on there web page .. But there expensive I got mine second hand of a wrecked truck

    good quality cheap shocks for the front are monroe reflex monotubes for a ~90 chevy C1500 (2wd). have to widen the holes on the bottom just a hair but MUCH better than anything else under $100ea made for the truck (IE anything in parts stores or special order stuff like toxics). They're a tad shorter too. (still hit bump stops first) Valved for a 1000lb heavier truck with a v8 in front but good quality unit so it doesn't beat you up. Had them for 3 years and they're awesome.

    Best part: got them for ~$37ea at rockauto.

    When loaded up or having fun you can tell the springs are on the soft side but the control is unbeatable all things considered.
