Called my brother he drove 4hrs to get me with a trailer an tht blew a tire about 5 miles from me so I had to meet him with only 4th gear goin then I fried my clutch in the parking lot he was at. Other than tht it was fun. Anyone else go

It's not but when **** like this happens it just puts me in a bad mood. Cause it was 220$ to fix the flat on the trailer and woulda been $320 to get a new tire cause it was the only place around tht was open getting in the show $65 gas for my truck 50$ and then I had to pay for my brothers which was $100 and food was $50 so I don't think I'll go next year but well see

I was there. The show was like half the size of last years. My chapter won 6 trophies, so that was cool!!

I had a friend with a similar situation going to this show. Smoked a third member on the way there, lost trans fluid and ground the synchros, then wrecked it on the way home. I just don't feel like going to this show... Lol..

i think it is this mind set that is truly killing off some of these shows. i def get where you guys are coming from though. its not easy to recover that kind of money either, even if you are kinda baller status.

I go to a lot of shows, this one just never appealed to me. Always sounded like a low turn out, super hot, really long drive for me. If I make an 8+ hour drive, I want it to be a good show. So I get a little picky past 4-5 hours.

Ya it wasn't very big this year. My club said tht it's been getting smaller each year. I've only gone 2 years. It's just a long drive and now doesn't seem like it's worth it to me. Next year will be dangerzone an dte day.

I find that the journey is usually better than the destination. I've had some messed up and expensive trips in the past and the ones that sucked st the time are the ones I'll never forget.

I was gonna look for you but I forgot what club you were in I thought it was extreme lows an we were next to them. I walked in your camp tho to check out the 4runner. Ya the c10 is badass doored an chopped 7"s. He wants to roadster it but I'm trying to talk him outta it cause it wouldn't be as unique IMO.

screw summer sadness. my club used to do security at this run a few years ago and every year we got screwed by cherokee over something. after years of promising us that we could take it over the next year, we finally had enough and told him to kick rocks and we havent returned since. even now that he is gone, we still wont go back.
