So I've been thinking I want suicide doors again ( had them on my Mazda) and I was wondering how hard it is to do using one of the kits they sell. Anyone on here ever done it?

If your going to use a kit ,use the one from SuicideDoors .com

I done two one with a kit & mine stock hinge & latches.
The kits swing the door to the outside ,stock hinge swings inside the body line!

Not bad,go to SuicideDoors site & print out the how to & study it.
The first side took 4 days the second side two.
Make sure to plate the door & add bracing behind the pockets inside the cab.
All the finish grinding is where most of the time is!
Consider installing safety latches, as I have heard more than once of the Bear Claw type latches failing, & the door opening & any speed will do a lot of damage!!

It is a lot of work! Most shops will charge around $1,800 per side ,this is with a kit,not stock hinged!
