Has anyone installed suicide doors to our trucks? If so what kits do you recommend? and where from?

 

I'm thinking about it too. But I'm thinking of getting the kit from sadistic iron works it's a single hinge system

 

I was looking at a kit from thorbros.com, it's a double hinge that comes with door clamps for $450

I have a buddy who has ordered a few things from them and says they are a good company, not sure how their suicide kits are though.

I used a kit from FBI ( now new name) on a friends 91 Nissan. And on my 88 I used stock hinges & latches (old school), as swings doors as stock,into body lines,not as a barn door!
I posted all the photo's on this site & others.

Ive seen the SSD.COM (suicide doors) and the Autoloc kit been done here and helped install with the complete kits with strikers and everything and it went pretty smooth but Ive also done one with stock hinges fliped and it wasnt too bad either but way more work and brain power to do it. Also more fab work.
