Ok, here's your open forum to make suggestions for improving the site. Even if you've mentioned things before, don't hesitate to mention them again. Again, I may not implement every idea, but I appreciate everyone's constructive feedback for making the site better. :waytogo:

I would like to see a few moderators to possibly help with thread clean-up, deletion, and locking whenever applicable.

Maybe a few 'tiered' moderators with increasing permissions based on level of moderation. I am not suggesting actual thread police, but it would be nice if some of us had some escalated permissions to help remove some unnecessary crap or move a thread that may be in the wrong section.

And I'm not necessarily saying it should be based on popularity or number of posts either. There are a few of us quiet ones that would not mind helping out and seem to be always around.

i want a write ups section where people make write ups that are then stickied and closed so they dont become the ever growing question thread.

we all know we have been asked a million times how to swap out a dizzy, do a bj flip, swap a trans, auto to manual conversion, 4wd fenders ect ect. 1 write up and for each of these and many questions and repetive request threads will be gone!

I think there should be a pre-write-up section for someone to post a write up for RFI, then if there are no mistakes and the write-up falls into a set of parameters, a final draft will be created and locked in a write up section.

I think there should be a limit of how many post you have to make before selling anything on this forum. Kinda sucks having this as craigslist to those who want to make a quick buck. Also some more funny and wierd walmart guys so we can put at the end of our comments.:waytogo: I would also like different items to buy with the TM logo on it. Just my 2 cents

I have just finished editing forum permissions so that newbie users (those with less than 10 posts) cannot make a new thread in the For Sale section. They can, however, reply to a thread that someone else has started- for instance, if they wanted to buy something you were selling.

Once they have 10 posts or more, they can make new threads as normal.

    Good?

Well, here's the thing on merchandise: When I've ordered merchandise in the past (for CustomTacos), I have to order a certain quantity of items. For example, lanyards. I'd love to do lanyards for this site. But when I order imprinted lanyards, there's a minimum order of 200 or 250. Ok, so let's say I order 200 lanyards with ToyotaMinis on them. How many people are REALLY interested in buying a TM lanyard? For the sake of argument, let's say 50 people. That's way shy of the 200 I ordered. So, in the process of creating some cool merchandise for the site, I've lost a couple hundred bucks. Now, I honestly don't care if I make ANY money on merchandise..but I sure don't want to lose money on it.

I can't even begin to tell you how many CustomTacos lanyards, drink koozies, and other stuff I sitting here in my house. And nobody wants to buy them. So they gather dust.

See why I haven't created any other merchandise yet?

BTW- I even have a really cool slogan/tagline (I don't want to reveal it quite yet) that I'd use on a tshirt..or other items. I hope to be able to use it one day. :headbang:

What mobile browser/device are you using? I've checked it out on my iPhone and it seems to work ok.

seriously, I would be happy with a few adjustments in sections and sub sections... I also have a problem whenever I come to the website I have to login all over again, it never keeps me signed in.

Also WE NEED MODS! not to ban people but keep things in order, like on topic, delete useless threads and reposts, and make stickys ! we need at least a good 3 to 5 mods with those kind of powers.. anyone deserving banishment should be relayed to you...

also I would like to get a custom tacos lanyard...how much are they ??
