Its a pain in the ass trying to find a ok looking bed in my area. I mean hell i can live with a few dings n such. Im just probably gonna rock john deere black paint so it doesnt need to be perfect. My truck was rear ended before i bought it & the guy did horrible body work. ( 1/2 in bondo in some places.) Do they sell just side panels for a 91? The bed itself is fine its just the sides that are jacked up. Or would that be an expensive route to go.
how much you think it would run to have someone put them on? round about number. Wish i knew more truckers around here to help me but i dont.
you take off the old ones and weld in the new ones. well, that's how our beds are made, double walled. maybe you can tub it while you're in there haha
dude i feel ya on the bed issue.. just the other day though there was a 94 reg cab 22re with bad headgasket on ksl for $500 bed was straight. i called about it a few hours too late it was gone
I seem to find them when i dont have money. There is a red one in ID that has been poppin up from time to time on ksl. think he wanted 450. you are right though, its almost easier to buy a whole truck thaan a bed. Japenese auto in slc has them from time to time but they've been pretty beat up you need a bed to dropt? Or you looking for a parts truck?
i need a bed man, i think everyone and their dog does. but hell if i could have picked up that 94 for 500, swapped the beds, fixed the head gasket... i could have sold for profit plus a good bed!
Sucks a guy at work drives a cherry 92 4x4. straight as hell. I always wonder if hed notice his truck missing & I show up with a white bed & fenders. lol
hmmm i think i know the truck you are talking about... is it missing the grill? if so i have often thought about stealing his bed hahah
