I got a call earlier only about a day or two ago from a guy I have bought some Valiant parts and a tow truck off. He is looking to sell some land and wanted to know if I wanted any of his cars. I said yes as he only wanted a mere $1000 (towing included) for all three.

Payment was made and the transfer of ownership taken care of this morning.

    My problem:
Down on the paperwork the van is written down as unknown as it had no ID anywhere that the transport guys could see. I cannot insure above the paid amount until it is identified. Can anyone help me out?

To me it looks like it could be a 50's ambulance from GMC imported from the states

It looks almost like a 1950's International pickup to me. Do you have any other pics? Also, is it a "pickup" or a "big truck" (pickup being F100- F-250 and big truck being the larger F-600 commercial type truck as an example) Or is it a "compact Truck" like our Toyota's.

If it was in the US it would be an International Harvester A series. Unfortunately for you the same truck/carryall was marketed in Australia as either an International Harvester or a Dodge, just different emblems.

    Hope this helps :waytogo:

    Here's a pic for reference:
