    Hi

I have a Stout RK101 (1977 5R ) and a Lite Stout RK43 (1967 2R) Both are running trucks but the 2R has seen better days and would need a full rebuild.

Which chassis is the better option for restoration and parts availability ( steering brakes suspension ect ) This is my big question!!!

The Front suspension setups are very different and the wheel bases are different also (RK101 is longer)

There seems to be more info on the RK101 around.
But I don't like the leaf sprung front-end.
They also seem more common in Australia.

But no info on the RK43 chassis brakes and suspension.

My original idea was the 5R and gearbox from the RK101 into the RK43.

The RK101 body is way way too rusty to save.
and my RK43 body I have spent $$$ on removing all rust.

Which option is the best direction.

    1. 5R and gearbox into the RK43

    2. RK43 Body onto the RK101 chassis.

Sorry but a later model chassis is no an option at this stage

So your opinion on which way I should go? Please:brickknock:
