Will a stock rear end from a 92 extended cab with a v6 hold up to the power and torque of a 1jz twin turbo with street slicks on the back for traction?
    thanks.

It should do nicely. I believe that one of the 7m cars came with the same third member that you have and they can be built pretty stoutly.

You have to keep in mind that if you have an 8"rearend, the axle shafts are bigger than those from a Dana 44 4x4 axle (the minor shaft dimensions).

The 8" also has 30 spline axles and a buttload of aftermarket lockers and gear ratio options!!!
