88 pickup 2wd carb setup. What does the aftermarket steering damper look like? Is it two eyes, eye and a rod, or two rods? I'm looking at rock auto and can't figure it out!
Ha me two bought a pro comp s2000 series damper wrong one stem on each end ugh been in my garage for years
Bro from what I remember. I got the toxic shocks from pro comp and it came with a universal set up with eyes that also had rods you could put thru it.
Hmm might need to check there web page see if I can get my hands on some . I'd like to use it mine my oem plum wore out thanks for tha heads up
Had trouble finding the Toxic Shock version but here's a skyjacker Parts Bin - Auto Parts and Accessories Catalog - Steering Stabilizer.scroll down to the rancho rs5400 they have the universal set up like mine.
i believe its one stem n one horizontal stem (bolts into relay rod) but if u got one with a stem n an eye hole, u can put a long bolt with a spacer in between shock n relay rod.http://www.partsgeek.com/assets/dimage/thumb/1023801.jpg
Yeah I'm going to get the eye/rod setup as that's what is on the truck *well ball joint, but whatever lol*.
ya, just looking at the dealership price for a 95 t-100 steering damper ....$250 list --that is before mark up for sale!
