Alright guys I finally landed me a cluster and I have a question about the oil sender setup. I know you have to run a full sender and not just a dummy light...but i'm running a mechanical gauge i trust way more than anything electric.

If I just don't hook up a new sender, will I be safe? I won't run the dummy light or the "gauge" sender. As long as nothing is hooked up it won't fry anything...correct?

thats correct....... the gauge just wont receive signal so it wont mark at all. no harm will come of it. there is a second oil tap right next to the original sensors on the motors that would allow you to run both if you so chose to fyi....
