IDK WHATS MAKING THE SQUEEK, MY THOUGHTS LEAD TO BALL JOINTS. BUT I DONT WANNA SPEND AND ITS NOT THE RIGHT THING. WHEN I PUSH DOWN ON THE DRIVER FENDER IT SQUEEKS. SO WHEN I DRIVE ITS VERY ANNOYING. ANYBODY GOT IDEAS?
Maybe it`s the fender hitting the door. I know mine sqweeeeks like that. Sometimes the fender bolts near the rocker panels rust out.
thats actually a good tip. check for loose body panels. but if it does it when you push the corner of the truck down, its usually a dried out bushing. try hosing some litium grease spray onto all the bushings overnight, then again in the morning. right after you do it...cycle the suspension by bouncing the truck up and down like you did to test it. get it going pretty bouncy. itll help it work into the material. if they look pretty tore up replace them, and use the thicker litium grease (not just the spray). it could also be a shock making noise, but its usually bushings.
so i bought the spray, sprayed everything, tested it and was squeeking but very softly so thats a good sign. so im gonna let it sit, use it, and re spray again later.
sweet. glad it helped out. just keep doing that and the rubber should soak it and work it in. bet its alot nicer to drive now. lol. that reminds me, i have some squeeks on my trucks to take care of today.
Haha thanks for the help! I was getting irrittated. It did come back though, will spray tmrw. Hopfully it'll go away.
