spraying oil from valve cover berather???

    any know whats up with this???

    what im working with

    84 22R

    weber 32/36

    k&n breather filter

    NEW pcv valve (run to the weber supplied bung )

    IT COVERED MY WHOLE ENGING BAY THAT I JUST CLEANED AND PAINTED .... :(

    I NEED HELP CANT SEEM TO TRACK IT DOWN

    ANY IDEA'S FROM ANYONE?????

    I DONT GET WHY THE INLET IS BLOWING OIL AND THE PCV VALVE IS NOT EVEN OPENING .....

    iM AT A LOSS .... WHEN i BOUGHT THE MOTOR IT WAS FINE I DROVE IT NO SMOKE!! NOW..... IT SMOKES LIKE BOB MARLEY

    The PCV shouldn't have a breather, but the hole in the front can.
    i need a pic of the setup.

    If you look close you can see all of the oil that I couldn't clean up

    What does the sparkplugs look like?

    Sorry to say but, the only known reason for that much oil/crankcase pressure is blowby...

    That's what I am saying .... I don't get it I am kind of scared it might go up in flames

    iI hate to say it too but yea blow by is what I am thinking .....

    but when I pick it up it was more then fine ... I drove the truck .... Fux maybe the ring gap lined up....

    Compression / leak down test would be the fastest answer here. You can rent the testers from the local auto stores usually. (autozone/oreilly/napa/etc.)

    Yeah I have one .......

    But I'm almost to the point that I don't want to know...... :(

    It was fine when I bought it ...... and when I put it in my truck bob lite one up under the hood

    Try this out and tell us if it works... The claims make me skeptical but, also curious!

    En-Valve, The SMART PCV Valve.

    whats the latest on this, what did you find?
    when i installed my weber i had to clean the carbon from the intake port where the pcv hose connects before installing the supplied plate. it was completely blocked off with carbon/soot
