I want a splined driveshaft in my 1992 extra-cab. Where can I pick one up?

I had to buy a new drive shaft for my 91 extr-cab when I did the tranny swap. I converted my truck from an automatic to a 5-speed & the shafts are different lengths. Anyway...call TAP-Toyota Auto Parts, they are in California & there numbers are 1-800-765-7100 or 916-631-7100. Ask to speak to Hector...he really knows his **** & he is the one I speak to when I need something! :)

Is your new driveshaft splined? On the real, I just don't know what has to be done to the driveshaft when lowering an x-tra cab. Should I just cut the cross member and lift it up? What have other people done?

I didnt do anything to my driveshaft when I lowered my 91. You dont have to
worry about it hitting the center crossmember cause the carrier bearing bolts up to it. Ive got a pretty good static drop on my 91 too & its handles like it did when it was stock.
