Needed or not? I am only planning on maying my truck out on 18s. I plan to bodydrop it, but that's got nothing to do with the spindles. Can these truck be completely layed out without spindles, or is that just a $300 I'm going to have to spend whether I want to or not?

 

not needed with a little pie cutting of the upper arm. mine laid on a 225/40/18 like that, and bodybagged on here 79 lays on a 225/30/20 on stock spindles and tube uppers.

 

I don't know about pie cutting the uppers, but I'm definitely down from some tubular uppers. I will have to look around and see what I can find. It'll look a lot better with Tubular uppers when you open the hood and see tires, Vette engine covers, LS intake, and tubular arms as opposed to stock ugly stamped uppers!

 

you can build a set of uppers for less then $100 if you have access to a bender.

 

^^^^where you recomend getting the cross shaft from... And for under 100 are you using diff ball joints or stock ones

 

spindles help camber... thats the main thing they help with

 

it's re-using the stock cross shafts. and that is buying screw in balljoints from speedway as well as the balljoint sleeves, and the bushing come from energy suspension.

well now that you've given me a price on much to build some, how much would yo build me some for? I can get them powder coated cheap, so I would want raw... I don't have access to a bender.
