I took my gauge cluster out to replace some bulbs and now after I put it back it is making noise. I tried taking it out again and applying some grease but it didn't help. Has anyone ever had this problem and what did you do to fix it?

That happened to me one day on my way to work and the needle pinned itself and broke off inside the gauge. I haven't replaced it yet but I disconected the speedo to the trans.

If you've greased it up and it's still making the noise, it may be time to get a new cable.

I had this happen tried the grease but didn't help. Best thing to do is replace the cable I got mine at rock auto online for around 15 bucks shipped.
