ok so I put 3" blocks in the rear and put a set of 15" Jeep rims on my truck. Now the tires are the same size as stock minus the fact that there 15's not 14's, but the problem I'm having is my speedo is about 9 1/2 to 10 mph faster then I'm actually going. I found this out by using a buddy of mines Garmin. So what do i do to fix this problem. I was wondering if I get the gear out of like a 4runner would that correct the issue. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

try putting the stocks back on to correct the problem if, it does them your math is wrong, the easy way would be to check the circumfrance of both wheel/tire combos with a tape, or just get used to it.

I would call Your local tire store I'm sure they have a fix, I believe D.M.V requires a working speedo, Like the horn, and the blinkers have to blink unassisted:shrug: In oregon you have to have windshield wipers to be "street legal" However a "windshield" is not required:runaway:

Again I would contact a tire store, like les schwabs, or your Tire Factory, or major tire store,.

    just a thought

Well where I live I dont have to worry about inspection of any kind. jeep wheels do fit but its certain years that do fit. I think Jeeps from I want to say 98 and up dont fit because they are the same bolt pattern as chevys. But before that they are the same pattern as our trucks just like the pony rims. I called the local 4 wheel parts performance center and they said they cant help me. Then I called the local Toyota Dealer and he said he dont know. But I used a Garmin and it said I was going about 10 mph over stock. guess I'll just have to accept it til I get my 1jz installed.
