So I've seen a few trucks on here that look to have spacers holding up the rear portion of the hood. I kinda like the look of it. How's it done and does it serve a purpose besides looks?

Its just longer bolts and spacers between the hood and hinge. Some say it brings the engine temps down a little.

    Washers and longer bolts.
A purpose, its suppose to help in cooling the engine bay on vehicles that have heat problems but on these trucks its mainly for looks, even though it looks ridiculous.

Thanks for the info. Not sure if I'll do it to my truck or not. It would only be a "looks" thing for sure. Thank god I have no over heating problems.
