My old boss had a 91 turbo supra. He always tried telling people it had "the 2jz motor from japan in it with 50k miles. And it runs 12 lbs of boost because of a trick with adding washers to the blow off valve."

Wasn't a 2jz. Didn't have a blowoff, it had a wastegate. Which wasn't modded. I'd riddin and watched his boost gauge. He hit about 7-8lbs. Was fast though. But geez...some peoples kids. LOL.

the washer trick does work, you put it inside the wastegate on the spring so it preloads it and it takes more psi to open it, If you buy a turbonetics evolution waste gate it will come with diff springs and about 6 washers, 2= 1psi I think

oh i know all about the trick. but he was full of ****. haha...it didnt even have a modified exhaust or intake until me and a guy that worked there made him let us. block was probably the original one too. unfortunately a few of us had similar era toyotas so we would prank his car. he was like 6'4" so we would move his electric seat all the way up and forward. he'd have to kneel down to adjust it before he could even get in. we did it to all his cars. i even took the supras shift knob and rubbed it all over my sweaty....uhh, car parts...then put it back. we never told him. :D
