smoothy bumper

    i know this has been done because it is on fbi rides so i figured im going to try it if anyone has done it give me some pointers i was goin to use a mig welder to do it the ones on fbi has been tig welded let me know what yall think and if you have done this b4

    figured id try to save some money

    I dont see why you couldnt mig weld it together...would be alot like welding up a door handle. You just need to make sure your welder is hot enough to do the job, but not so hot that it burns through. Id also tack weld it just like doing a door handle & dont make too many tacks at one time so the metal can cool to prevent warpage!!

    i personally think tig puts more heat into the material, it's just easier to control to avoid burn through. mig welding should work just fine.

    i think i figured out what i need to do im just going to mig weld it yotascene helped me out on it thanks guys
