Anyone have any good tips/tricks to remove the smell of smoke? My grandpa smoked in the truck years ago and since it's been parked it just seems to have gotten worse. When I get in the truck at first the smell is so horrible it's left me driving with the window down even in the rain till enough fresh air gets in to make it tolerable.

When I bought my Honda it smelled pretty bad like smoke... So what i did was I would fabreeze it everyday, roll down all the windows and let it sit in the sun while I was at work. I carried a bottle of fabreeze with me.. I sprayed the vents a lil bit also.. It took about 2 weeks for the smell to finally go away. You cant even tell now except for the damn cigarette holes in the front seat.

Wen u park it at night put a cup of coffee in there. And i mean hot water with like 4 spoons of coffee. Itl smell like coffee but not like smoke.

OPTION 2-- get some charcoal, crush it, and put it on a plate and leave it in there over night.

    I prefer coffee

first take out the seats, get them steam cleaned some where

take out the carpet, get some Super Clean and spray it on, hose it down to rinse.

wipe down all the surface of the interior with soapy warm water

close up the truck with a Big container of baking powder and leave for awhile

reinstall and it should be better

    Haha that works too!

My truck didnt smell so great when i first bought it and now it smells like spray paint and new carpet. Just paint the shizz out of everything. that will cover it.

I'll try the cheap coffee trick for now. I am going to be getting new seats soon so I don't want to dick with taking them out and cleaning them.
