Today I took what seems to be a smog pump on my truck since I was told I didnt need it anymore since my truck wont pass smog is there anything bad if I dont have it on the truck?

 

Possible fouling of the catalytic converter due to the fact that it is designed to work with the extra air provided by the pump. If you already removed the cat you have nothing to worry about.
