so ive been looking around but have not really found too much on slamming my truck. ive monoleafed the rear till i can afford a bag setup and im looking to get the front pretty low now. im currently riding on bumpstops so should i just remove them completely? or get dropspindles or something? im not sure
also for lowering the rear more i have heard that you can remove the little wood spacers between the frame and bed. is this true?
Mighty max springs up front. And drop blocks and pulled middle leaf or flipped overload. Do yourself a favor and dont ride around monoleafed. Shit can break in half. And yes pull the bumpstop but put something in its place. A foam sandal works good lol
im running monoleafed till i get my paycheck. i dont daily drive the truck so im not worried about it breaking
and even monoleafed i dont think its low enough :^). i might wait till bags for more low in the rear though. or till i move the gas tank
You'll probably have to cut the frame and bag it to go any lower. If you're mono leafed now your axle should be beating the frame and Xmember on every bump. I've got mine blocked 3" and pulled a leaf with the flipped overload and if I didn't have air shocks I wouldn't be able to drive it.
I plan on keeping this static now. I'm looking to almost lay frame while staying static with this truck so I would have to start by c notching, big blocks, drop spindles. What else would I need to get low low
Youre only guna get so far before shit that isnt supposed to scrape, starts scraping. One of the xmembers needs to be redone, it hangs way low
Just saying theres a point where youre not going to be able drive that thing anywhere because of how low it is. Stock parts and even aftermarket are only going to get you to a certain point before you rralize you have to bag it
3 coils cut up front with the pad on the lower arm for the bumpstops removed. The bumpstops was trimmed also and I did a ball joint flip as well. The rear was 3" blocks and a couple 4x4 720 nissan leafs substituted for the second and overload. The rear bumpstops were also cut way down. There is no excuse for running a mono leaf. Go bigger blocks, cut down the shackle and french the front hanger into the frame. Anything but a stupid crazy axle wrapping, going to break and leave your junk immobile mono leaf.
i know monoleaf is stupid and can leave me stranded but as of now the truck doesnt really move many places. or far for that matter. but i want to get it stupid low before i actually do this the correct way.
