So I found some rims I like they're 18x8.5 an I was wondering if they'd tuck an what offset I'd need

Im 100% sure that 18's will work but your offset like you said along with tire size is your only concern. Hopefully someone will chime in here who has 18's on there yota with offset specs. I just bought some dodge charger wheels and they work great which are 18's as well. not sure what the offset is though.

yea 35 series on a 17"-18" wheel is rediculous. and idk if you can even find em can u?

225-40 for the 18s woud be sweet and give u a mild stretch

    Why is a 35 ridiculous?

Sorry i just like having some kinda cushion on tires. I had a 40 series on some 17"s and i thought that was too thin.

I think a lot depends on the tire too. I have cheap 40 series on my eclipse and my rims are like stop signs from hitting pot holes and I have moderately expensive 30 series on my minitruck and not even a ding.

18x8.5 w/225/40 tires. A little bit of stretch. Offset was +35 if I remember correctly:

Clearance was tight, but they fit with some work. 4wd fenders probably wouldn't need the pull and roll like my 2wd ones did.

Thnx again guys. I asked on streetsource aswell an a guy said they should be fine. I'm not tellin anyone the rims kinda keepin it on the DL so noone steals my idea haha. But they're 18x8 42mm offset an 6.15 backspace. They'll have 40 series tires since it's my daily an I'll be getting them after I cap off the bed. Thnx for all the info that's why I love this place

They should fit with no problems. I have xRunner wheels 18 x 8.5 with 2wd fenders and they tuck by a hair. :waytogo:
