Hi, I am in Sacramento area and just acquired 1980 SR5. It needs to be smogged but there are some hanging vac lines.. i am looking for pdf with shop manual with CA emission.. any advice on that as well as on the best place to take car for smog in the area would be highly appreciated !

 

Pick up atleast a haynes or chilton manual from ur local auto parts store

 

I got Bentley 78-82 manual, but I would love to have emission system details from shop manual.. I do not know how Toyota did this.. For my 86 volvo one can find separate factory little books on different subj (e.g. air-conditioning, suspension etc..) on-line or hard copies .. with those in hand you really know what you are doing.. I have not found those for Toyota ..

 

Go to the dealer. I looked for the FSM for my old 89 and the dealer had em for $100+ each book. An there were 3. And since u have a '80 its guna be harder to get since its waaaaay older

Lol. I did my headgaskets just by goin along with the haynes manual fron autozone
