    Lecarra Hub Adapter Kits B-29603 - SummitRacing.com

1.This is the adapter I just got for my 82 (even though it does not list my year) and it fits like a glove, as long as the splines line up your good to go on the hub, I did however loose my horn, still need to get that figured out

    2. Your steering wheel bolts to the hub, so you need to make sure the holes in the hub match your wheel, 9 bolt, 6 bolt ect, I got a Billet Specialties and it lines right up top the hub, its a 9 bolt wheel.

    3. Your shift shaft threads are 12x1.25 mm. Most companies sell universal knobs that come with a rubber sleeve that fits tightly over the thread, put your shift knob on and tighten it with set screws.

lc engineering sells a polished knob thats the corect size and screws right on.

    Hope this helps

The size of the steering wheel should be a "Gut Decision". If you are skinny and tall, you can easily go with a larger steering wheel and not worry about it. However, if you are an obese oompa-loompa like myself, the seat being forward and a rather rotund belly is going to want the real-estate that a larger steering wheel takes up. You don't want to feel like the guy in that scene from Christine, where the seat ratchets forward and crushes him, every time you get in your truck. That and having to suck in your belly every time you want to turn really sucks.

Some steering wheel companies require you to use only their hub adapters find a steering wheel you want first. I know for sure you have to use grant adapters on their steering wheels as they use 3 screws to mount the steering wheel and not all 6-7 screws...

They're fine. I've had them on 3 cars (2 without power steering) and done some moderate stupid stuff with no problem. well, taking the S10 drifting wasn't so moderate with 6.5 turns lock to lock (manual box). more like OMFG TURN TURN TURN TURN TURN OH CRAP OTHER WAY TURN TURN TURN TURN TURN.

As for wheel size, being tall necesitates a small wheel too or your knees are stuck low and wide open, banging the wheel whenever you clutch. Yes, you pretty much have to get a matching hub and wheel (or at least a matching knockoff). You can get any size wheel that will fit a MOMO hub with a MOMO hub.

I wouldn't touch one of those slip-on shifter knobs with a 10 ft stick. A friend of mine tried to use them and it was loose as crap no matter how tight and how many times it was tightened. Set screws and the plastic sleeve are NOT adequate. That's why the packaging says "nor legal for road use" because the knob will be loose and come off in your hand.
