Is anyone familiar with transgo shift kits for our automatic transmissions? my last truck had the clutch discs go bad, and prolonged clutch dusc life is one thung that the kit claims.

Just windering if anyone has experience and knows how easy they are to install, and whether it really works. thanks!

btw, i have an A340E with an ECT behind a slightly built 22Rte

I've never used them (all my cars have been MT) but they were all the rage in the 70s with GM, Ford, and Chrysler trannies.

Shifting will be jerkier/crisper because they "reprogram" the tyranny to slip less between shifts. That's how the kits prolong clutch life.

Some kits even allow you to reprogram the trans to be manual shifting only.

This is the PRI Transmission edition, maybe the serious transmission that you can adapt!
