Do shells for the late 90's Taco's fit the 89-95 trucks? Or any other truck shells fit the 89-95 trucks?

i would assume it may have a close fit. the bed size is fairly similar. always safe to try before you buy

the area you might see a difference in is where the camper and the cab of the truck meet. you might see a gap around there.

Cool, thanks guys. I've been seriously thinkin of getting a fiberglass shell. Just been keeping an eye out for a good one. I'll definetly throw it on the truck first to test fit though.

I've thought about a tonneau, and not for the tunes. More for the dog and being able to throw crap in the back for road trips and what not. And a little bit for the old school minitruck look.

Also make sure that the shell you get doesnt come off an extra-cab truck either cause the back of the cabs have more of a slant to them.

It wont look right. It will fit on the bed but the taco has a taller cab. I used to hav a 4runner style snugtop shell n sold to my friend. She had 98 taco, it mounted on the bed but tacos cabwas a lot taller than the shell.

take off the shell? or the window. im sayin get the boot so:

    A. the shell dnt hit the cab too hard IF it somehow comes loose.

    B. if u take the back window out u wont get too much extra road noise, cold ass air at night, and the elements stay outside with the rest of the elements
