So I've shaved my antenna, the third brake light, and all the tabs that hold the inner fender liners onto the fenders. I'm debating whether or not to keep the rock protectors that are located just in front of the rear fender wells. Those big plastic things.... What do you think?
shaved my antenna squirters and rock protectors... regretted the squirters so put them back but I love the look without the rock protectors... did you just grind off your tabs... been thinking about it myself
I did mine. Everyone like it now that there gone. Anyone thinking or done the removal of the 3rd brack light on the cab?
You can see the third brake light and antenna are gone. And yes, I used a cutoff wheel to take the tabs off and a flapper wheel to clean up what remained. I also used a hammer to roll the edges back slightly to clean up the look. I'll post a pic later.
Alright, the stone protectors are gone. Gotta fill the holes yet. All the tabs have been removed from the wheel wells. All these little details make a huge difference in how clean everything looks.
