I've had a set of 4runner buckets for a while and i'm ready to put them in. They are ripped in the typical location and a little nasty. i dont feel like cleaning them. So i was thinking of seat covers vs reupholstering them. Has anyone put some decent seat covers on. I dont want any that are general fit. I would like them to look like they are upholstered and tight not like walmart seat covers, i dont want leather so no Katzkin, i found these guys. dashdesigns.com they have them on rockauto.com for 106 plus shipping what do you guys think??
Hey Joey...if you want covers...Go with wet okole covers. They are a bit pricey but the fit and finish is awesome. I was going that route until I found Todd@theinteriorshop. Almost the same price as the covers...But I went with reupholstered!
Defiantly wet okole .. Co workers got them in his jeep the average non car enthusiast wouldn't even no they were seat covers they fit so snug . That and there kinda this wet suit material
will it make you sweat and burn your leg like vinyl...Its getting hot here in AZ and vinyl seats blow! Kahuna, is he local??
What I'm planning on doing with the seat for mine is to have it reupholstered at a local shop and then having them make a cover for it that will be machine washable. That way I can just take the cover off and head to the laundromat when it gets dirty. It'd probably be cheaper to go with pre-made covers though and the seat I'm planning on using is the back seat from a minivan, so I didn't think there was any hope in finding a nice pre-made cover for it.
Well, I found these guys be I was looking for replace seat fabric for my 60/40 but they only make covers. Its probably better for you since these are custom made to match covers. Home .
