I was searching on the net and found another fix for that click click click no start damn relay problem. http://www.yotatech.com/f116/tech-tip-free-starter-fix-160948/ So give it a try from what I see its exactly what I heard low voltage to the trigger so you give it more power and badda bing badda boom.
I am making my testament about the fix for the no start with the relay problem. I made the fix 2 weeks ago and have yet to have any problems. So those of you that are having that no start problem i would advice making that fix it takes maybe less then 5 minutes even if you don't know how to splice wires together.
i did this to my 4x4 last night. it started up no problem. then i shut it off and went inside. today i tried to start it and nothing. i've tried everything i can think of. i checked the starter contacts they look good, i changed out the ignition switch with one i had lying around and still nothing. its weird, when i push the clutch in i can hear a relay click but nothing happens. any ideas?
did you put a fusible link in between that one wire and the battery. At this moment the only thing I can think of is maybe that fuse is blown.
i didn't put a fusible link since i was just trying to see if it would work. the only thing that i could think is the relay is bad, but it still clicks on and off like before. i think i'm going to put on a ford relay.
