Are those holes? Are they close to being holes? if so, make a filler panel somehow and weld. Or do a slidiing rag top:cool:

yea.............. punch through the rust or cut it out entirely and make patch plates..... weld them in place, grind, sand and make em flush again.

how are the edges of the roof panel (at the front, rear, and near the drip rails)??

if those areas are in decent shape, i would suggest replacing the roof skin itself from a good donor vehicle. it's just a series of pinch welds holding it on. the panels are usually very cheap at scrapyards too.

    yeah seriously.

those aren't holes.... those are craters.

only fix i can think of is to cut it all out and weld in a new skin...

or if you want to ease your warpage and work, find a donor truck and cut the roof off in the pillars, up near the top, and swap entire roofs that way. same as chopping a top without removing any height. front and rear glass comes out, but doors can and should stay on to check alignment.
