Rpm's at 70 with sr5 cluster and 18s

    What rpm's are you guys running at 70mph with 18s? I did the cluster swap bout 1year ago! Yes I calibrated the the tach with dial behind the tach/speedo! I think my runs around 3500 +or- I meant to check on the way home today but forgot? Any thoughts,suggestions!!! Please

    What trans? That seems really high for a 5 speed. My auto runs around 2500 ish? 3.73 gears....

    I will recheck it! Yes 5speed trans! I may need to dial it back a bit!

    I do about the same at 70 as you. Little over 3000. That's with 215/45/17 rear tires, 4.10 gears and a W52. I want mellower gears out back. Stretch the gears out a bit. First few are too quick.

    275/35/18 + 3.42's + W58 from SC300 = 2000rpm's @ 60mph, 2500RPM's @ 70mph, 3000RPM's @80mph, as far as I've calculated and actually driven.

    Figure out your tire size, gear ratios, and rear end.

    That's what I did in reverse for various gears and speeds. I don't run a speedometer in my rigs. Just tachs. Easier to adjust mental notes with tire changes than speedo gearing.
