Hey guys and gals. I am moving along on my swap (1978 chassis with a 1991 22RE engine) and am not sure what to do about coverting to a throttle cable instead of the hard links of the 20R.

What have others done? I looked around and do not see anything. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not an RE but I recently used a Lokar universal setup for my 76 with a 22r. Here is the 24" cable. They can also be had longer if needed.

I made my own gas pedal and used a Lokar universal cable. I think i bought the 36", wanted to make sure i had more than enough.

Im sure you can use a factory RE cable and just mod the pedal end of it to work how you need it to
