Just finished a restore of my 77 to near perfect condition with near 100% original parts. It's amazing to see the amount of head turns I get when I drive it. I've driven it a few times over the last couple days and Just about every time I park and get out 2-3 people come and talk to me about it. For many folks, the truck provides a nostalgic connection. It's incredible the emotion these old trucks can elicit from people. I'll get around to posting a couple pictures soon.

The pedal was broken off years ago, apparently. The metal arm is still there and there is no effect to comfort or driveability. I'm waiting until I can track down an original pedal. I could put on some aftermarket part but my goal has always been to use all original toyota parts for this restore. I have stayed true to that almost 100% up to this point.

The restoration is gorgeous but the side view mirrors ruined it for me. Those were not offered by Toyota and were added at the dealerships. Nothing against you or the truck I just really dislike those mirrors. I almost won't buy a vehicle if they have them on!

lol, they are just mirrors. remove and some body work. big deal.

The truck is fresh. Yes, I would have removed them too but it would not have stopped me from getting a clean truck...

I said "almost"! LOL! My latest project had them too. They were the first thing to go! There's holes to fill but I couldn't pass up this clean truck!
