Hey All - the saga continues...

    I have a 2WD 1994 Toyota Base.

I have just replaced the entire suspension and steering components.

How do I set the control arm bushings at ride height when I've replaced them both at the same time? When I lower the truck, it drops almost all the way to the ground.

PS - I have installed Belltech Lowering Spindles.

    Thank you in advanced!!!

I feel like I cranked them down...I guess I'll throw more turn on it. They are Sway-A-away Bars.

That or the key may not have been turned enough to put the necessary tension on the T bars

Hmmm interesting thought. I did line everything up with the notches. You're probably right with the tension - and I won't be able to get under there again until tomorrow.

I did mine recently, I marked the spine before I pulled it apart, I'm pretty sure you can put the spine in any spot it has no master spine, and when I put it together the angle of T bars was sitting lower than I expected, but after tightening them the ride hight was correct, I guess that's why the adjustment bolts are so long, you need most of the thread to install the torsion bars.

Yup, y’all were correct wrenched down on the T bars. Over 70mm exposed.

center bar under the pan is about 6.5 inches from the ground. See pictures. Thoughts?

images are potato quality. all I could upload from my phone...

Yea that's definitely turning out mint! What parts did you go with for suspension/steering? Did you piece it together or did you buy a kit? I ask because this is highly important on my build and been hesitant to buy the Amazon/ebay kits..

That's what I was noticing once you start reading the parts description.. I never used rockauto before, going to look into that! Trying to eliminate about 2inches of wheel play! Hahahah
