Pulled my trans out today cuz i needed to put the motor back in and couldnt get it to line up right, but when i went to pull it out, all the GL-5 poured (literally) out the rear of it since the shaft was out. My question is... is that normal or should i do the seal while im there. Im ordering a new mount for the trans and the seal is cheap enough to justify doing it at the same time. Any help is appreciated. I never noticed any fluid coming out with the shaft in so i wasnt sure if it was normal/to be expected. Thanks all

gotta keep the driveshaft in or use a plastic bag and tape when you pull the trans. The seal sits against the side of the yoke to make the seal. If it wasn't leaking before it's probably fine.
