hey guys i got a question, i got an 88 hilux pickup and i'm wantin to drop the back end but i had a question? when buying my lowering blocks are there specific ones for my ride?? already planning on doing a B/J flip on the front and a little adjustment on the torsion bars to get it even lower and i'm wanting to drop it at least 2" out back.
I would suggest these blocks they are nice and built well but if your on a budget there are other blocks out there some decent and some bad STREETACOS Home Page
yeah that's a little outta my means at this point, not really working with alot right now with paying for school and all. plus working as a pizza delivery driver doesn't really make me the money i need to do the things i'd like to do with it i'm looking for my best but still relatively inexpensive option, i appreciate it though
and what's the easiest way i can go about "trimming" my bump stops up front? i'm going to at least lower it on the torsion bars tomorrow and can't be slangin' pizzas on my bump stops lol
When looking for lowering blocks you can get nice steel one's with good ubolts like... DJM Suspension Universal Lowering Blocks SB2LK - SummitRacing.com Or cheapies aluminums like... DJM Suspension Lowering Block Kits LB2LK - SummitRacing.com I would recommend going with the steel ones, but if you are on a budget run what you can. Most auto zones sell 2" lowering blocks with u bolts for under $30.00. If it were me, I would save up some extra money and go with the steel ones hands down.
alright man thanks, it's sittin a little high right now and i need something done about it asap. whichever ones i grab, do they go in as easily as one would think? also, to do about a 4" drop out back how much of a notch would be needed?
