Does anybody have a source for rear glass for a 78? And the molding? Drove an 11 hour round trip to find out the wrecking yard did not have the right one.
https://www.pilkingtonclassics.com/...ab-toyota-hi-lux-pickup-mexico-only-blue-tint. This is a good source for windshields. Maybe they make rear glass. **not sure if this link is still good. Google search “pilkington” for alternate link.
You may be able to hit a glass shop and see if they can cut you one. Seeing as its flat it shouldnt be too difficult
The PO of my truck did his himself, said it was easy since it’s flat. He was a commercial glazier/window guy and used a piece of gray tinted glass. I’d assume a good glass shop could cut you this. My old neighbor was into old pre-50s chop top cars and he said flat glass is easy to get cut and modify, any curved glass is going to be a pain
Good news! The wrecking yard swapped the wrong window for the right one. And it came with the molding!
