ok, so i bought a 83 short bed 2wd with a 22r and a 4 speed. i am making the truck into sort of a drift truck/daily driver and want cheap torque to get my rear end sideways.

i was thinking about getting a stock first gen 4x4 thirdmember (4.37:1) and putting a spartan t8 locker in it.

do you think this would be worth my time and 300$ to do or should i just get a weber and a header?

i got the truck for $500 and im trying to keep less then another 1000$ into it. you will probably see alot of offroading themed nonsense on my truck in pictures to come hahaha

Hmm If I were You I would First Swap Out that 4 speed and put in a w58 Tranny Then swap in the weber and the header....then work on your rear end... just my 2 cents bro

Weld the rear. Will feel like it wants to kick out all the time.
