I am in the process of making two trucks into one. The rear end is out of a 86 automatic. And the transmission is a 84 4 speed manual. Am I gonna have any problem with gears being too short. Just need to know what I am up against. Thanks

The automatic rear should have either 373's or 410's...

easy way to tell is to get a snap shot of the tranny and diff codes off the VIN tag on the trucks and compare them on the decoder that we have in the tech section. or post up your codes here and one of us will let you know what gearing you have and what difference it will make.
