Snapped one of two bolts to the Thermostatic Valve, during an intake manifold gasket replacement.

    My question is:

At the bottom of this Thermostatic Valve (Pic above) a coolant hose (see pic below "A") that runs into the firewall. "B" (red) used to have a hose that ran to the factory aqua choke. Capped off when I went to the Weber.

Does anyone know if I can re-route A to B?

I don't have a diagram of the coolant flow for the 20r, and though it's not an ideal permanent fix, was looking to use a block-off plate at the head (still enough of the stem to screw a bolt onto a thin plate), re-routing the hose, just until I had the time and money to pull the motor apart to have the head re-worked and a fresh gasket set all around.

Might have answered my own question using the search option. :D

    So, now my question is:

Would it be okay to route the hose coming from the firewall, which I believe is "hot" coolant going into the heater, to the water outlet on the intake - which used to connect to the "in" on the thermostat/choke on the factory carburetor?

I had the same question, seeing as I had a hard time finding a straight answer. What I did is I capped the TSV with a plate I made, then I ran A to B just like you had planned. The problem I had was I couldn't find an answer for the coolant path. What I decided to do was use clear tubing on what I could so that I could see the path, haven't made any conclusive desitions yet.

Heres mine. You can see that the TSV is blocked off by the manifold, but before when I had the Weber i just cut a block off plate for it.
