Hey all. Chip here from BC Canada. I bought myself a 1990 Toyota in 1991. Ran it through many looks and setups. Slammed with air shocks, stock height with 10" rims and 295's and everything in between. 4 paint schemes, shaved it clean and chopped the top off to make it a convertable.

I then pulled the engine to swap in some power. Got married, had a kid and sold it.....

Fast forward 17 years and found it sitting in the guy I sold it to's back yard. My kids talked me into buying it back and fixing it up again.

Rebuilt the motor. Re did the body work and painted it up. A couple late nights and got it ready for the kid to drive in the parade.

Blew the motor out not long after due to oiling issues. So, I'm in the process of putting together a new motor to drop in this spring for kid number 2 to drive it in his Graf parade.

Can't post pics from my phone for some odd reason so I'll update tomorrow and start a build thread.

How I found her in a guys back yard after 17 years.

Did the body work, welded and filled the door rail to the roof, filled all old ground effects holes and got her ready for paint.

Using my state of the art side draft paint booth (aka; my driveway), got some paint on. BMW Valencia Orange under Custom Silver Top

Rebuilt and painted the engine to match. Sadly, it wasn't to last long.

Got it all together and fired up two days before the kids grad parade. That gave us two days to teach him how to drive standard. Happy kid.

Sitting in all its glory, waiting for the tow truck with a blown engine....

And now the fun begins.... I sold it with no engine years back because I had ideas of a 350 V8 in her. Now, that dream is becoming a reality.

Just waiting on a couple parts, but specs are, 350 4 bolt main, bored .030 over. Scat Stroker crank to make it a 383.... Yeah baby. Comp Big Muther Thumpr roller cam, roller rockers, gear drive, Edelbrock intake and carb, 350/Toyota coversion headers... etc. etc.

Final parts should be here late this week, or early next. Then to get it together and in the truck so kid number 2 can drive it for Grad this year.

Deffently a family truck now. Truck looks goox!

Question on the side exhaust, is it fuctional or just for looks? Do you only have it on driver side? Ive been thinking of doing this for years.
