So I've been thinking of doing a ragtop since I have no ac an they're pretty nice during summer. But on the ex cab you'll notice that little hump in the roof an I wanna know if the ragtop will seal properly an still slide correctly any info or pics are appreciated

When you make the cuts for the hole, I'm sure you could transition the area to be flat on the flange. The metal is thin, and the frames usually sandwich top and bottom layer. If not, you could always do a large pop up over your head. Or one of the ones that slides back. The type that slides outside and above the roof, not inside of it.

it will have a small gap from what i seen but im pretty sure it seals correctly if installed correctly...the rag will not contour to the profile of the roof like that dip but if its a long curve roof like a bettle then it will. but yo umust install it correctly to be water tight as possible...seam sealer in and brace if possible...also you may want to loook into the electric motorized ones because the handles on the regular rag tops tend to break fast if opened in correctly...and the rag must be straight when opening because if you twist and its crooked then itll get stuck and youll have to jiggle it around a bit. im looking for a good site for my rag top also.
slidingragtops.com is the cheapest so far..idk if you have a locall dealer but in hawaii our local dealer prices suck..good luck

the hump on our roof isnt too bad. I'm sure you can get the rag's system and roof to cooperate

Ya like my boys don't have jobs so they're always like hey let's go party or go to the lake tomorow an I'm like man I gotta work srry. So I'm mostly just building my truck up on days off or I'm at work. So hopefully I can get this house then build a nice little shop in the back if there's enough space
