I have a 1990 Toyota pickup std cab base model and my dash only has the single din hole for radio does anyone know or have a pic of what the radio brackets look like for it there missing and cant seem to find them anywhere
That's what they look like, and you can get them for a decent price here...Toyota 4Runner 87 95 Right Radio Mounting Bracket 86211 89111 SR5 Turbo T100 | eBay
Does yours have the tray right under the radio hole.If so the bracket holds the tray and the radio.one piece.
Most players now-a-days have the mounting plate with it.There are tabs that you peel back.Like universal style.
no you don't use that in these trucks the oem radio has tabs that are screwed to radio you take them off and screw them to aftermarket radio
I know what you mean but the players come with that square bezel that is not needed if you have the oem bracket.Like you said it screws straight into the body of the player but that bezel is what im talking about it has tabs that you bend back and has hole for mounting .I just recently did one on a $100 kenwood player.
my bezel doesn't have that. I measured everything out gonna try to fab some brackets at work tomorrow
The guy i got truck from had a stereo face with trim ring just glued in the spot as a false radio this truck used to have a 30 thousand watt stereo in it if you go on youtube 4 15" Ascendant Audio SMD Prototypes in a bagged Toyota - YouTube
after watching the video, it looks like your dash has been fiberglassed and modified by the PO to make room for the air gauges and bass knobs and what ever else i down there. this is how it should look. you might be able to find a factory radio piece and put it back to a double din opening. is the truck body dropped too? doesnt look like a whole lot of room between the floor and the gauge panel.
