I need to buy a radiator for my runner project (22re 5speed) is there a difference in the A/T an M/T.

 

I think there would be as many A/T radiators have the output for the oil cooler or trans cooler on the bottoms of the tanks. However I could be wrong but either way the only thing you need to do is cap that section off

 

my 89 has a replacement radiator and it has tranny cooler lines for the auto.

 

I have a radiator if you want it, 25 buck plus shipping : )

 

I read on autozone tht they have it but they wont leak or something there designed to be like a universal

 

the trans cooler is seperate (internally) from the coolant. otherwise there'd be oil in the coolant. mine has the trans cooler and the lines aren't plugged

 

Almost all replacement rads have a trans cooler, you don't need to plug it. I use mine as an engine oil cooler.
