replace your thermostat, and check your hoses. easiest way to check the hoses is to squeeze em, if they pop and crack when you squeeze em time to replace your cooling system hoses, if not its good and just replace the rad and thermostat and while you have the rad out check the water pump to see if its leaking out the weep whole in the bottom of it.

Yea I also bought one of those aluminum rads that are meant for the 3.0L Toyota V6 4x4. It is really easy to make it fit and it cools much much better than the original 2wd 22RE rad.

THANK YOU !! LOOKS LIKE I'LL BE GETTING ONE FROM THIS RATHER THAN EBAY.
I was wondering what did you have to do to make it fit? not sure if i should get the 1 row which would fit or the 2or3 row which says it doesn't fit.
also did you get a new fan with your radiator?

its the pulley with the fan attached to it. you can kinda see a raised part on the front of the block, thats the water pump.

If your going to run a stock style radiator get a Flex-a-lite # 647 15" S blade with controls.
jegs, summit, goog it. its a (puller fan ) listed for Toyotas 4x4 84-96.
